Visiting Naples on foot is a unique experience, crossing squares, impressive buildings and churches you discover the real city which is nearly 3,000 years old.
Your tour can start from either the station or your hotel, whichever is best for you.
Starting from St Gennaro's Cathedral you will feel the love the Neopolitans have for their city.
Immediately after is Via San Gregorio Armeno, a street where craftsmen work all year round on the statuettes which have made Naples famous all over the world.
You arrive next at" Piazza Gesu " a square named after its church and above all there is the Monastery of Santa Chiara , a jewel of the city and hononymous with the song and monastery.
: Another "must "is a walk around the Neopolitan streets where you see the colours ,smell the aromas and taste the flavours of the many different cakes, perhaps with a cup of good coffee!
Naples is a city of a thousand faces which will enchant you as it did to famous poets and musicians such as Goethe, Stendhal, Cervantes and even Elsa Ferrante.
Crossing Via Toledo, noted for its shops, you arrive at the monumental centre where you can admire the Umberto Gallery, the San Carlo Theatre and the famous Plebiscito Square. Here, there is the Pizzeria Brandi which according to tradition is where pizza was made for Queen Margherita who was in Naples.
