Do you accept last-minute booking?

We do not accept last-minute booking. But if you really want to visit Pompeii, we can arrange you a private tour with one of our guides.

Please note that since Pompei is a big area, we recommend being cautious of your belongings and do not carry any big bags with you. We would also advise that you take plenty of water, especially in the summer months, and ensure you are either well protected with sun cream or hats as there is very little shade in which to escape the sun. We also reccomends to use comfortable shoes.

Yes. Rain or shine.

What should I bring with me to fully enjoy my tour?

We suggest to bring your camera for your pictures, water, comfortable shoes. If you’re visiting in warm wheater (from May to September), we reccomend you to bring sunscreen. During the winter months we will reccomend you to bring a coat and possibly a rain jacket / umbrella. We ask to all our customers to bring photo ID with their date of birth listed.

What is the difference between a private tour & a small group tour?

Private tour groups consist of your party/group & your own private guide. A small group tour is when you will join a tour that is open to other travelers. Small Group tours vary in size between 8-12 people, depending on the tour. In this way you’ll still find it easy to hear and chat with your guide and it’s more cost-effective than a private tour but with the same quality.

We are a small group. Should we do a small group tour?

Not necessarily. You can select a private tour or, depending on availability and the size of your group, we may be able to accommodate you on one of our small group tours with other travelers.

I’m travelling with a small child, can I bring a stroller with me?

Yes, you can! But keep on mind THAT the streets in Pompeii are bumpy.

Can I take your tour if I have walking difficulties or a wheelchair?

Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate wheelchairs on our walking tours for different reasons, but we can accomodate you on our private tours to allow the guide to adapt the route to your needs

How to get to Pompeii?

By train of by your own car. There are lots of ways to get to Pompeii, the easy, fast and cheap way is to train taking the Circumvesuviana, from the main Naples Station (Napoli Centrale) or Sorrento. When you are there look for the signs for the “Circumvesuviana” trains and buy the tickets from the desk.

The Circumvesuviana train tickets from Naples or Sorrento costs about 5 € per person and takes about 45/50 minutes. There will be stops along the way, you have to get off at “Pompei Villa dei Misteri (Scavi)”.
